Bowron Sheepskins was set up in 1879 when two brothers George and William Bowron, master tanners of Yorkshire England, set sail for Christchurch in the new colony of New Zealand.
Whilst their head office remains in Christchurch, Bowron has come home to Yorkshire where the UK offices are now based.
